Our Physician

Dr. Michael Boyer has been in solo practice on the Wadsworth square since July of 1988. Every year here just gets better than the year before. New podiatric experiances and the changing world always makes each day an interesting one.

I enjoy trying to help each patient overcome their foot ailments. It is amazing how many helpful hints I have learned throughout my career. Podiatry has come a long way and plays a very important role in the medical and surgical aspects of the foot.

A little information about me should give you a good idea about my professionalism in this business. I graduated from Norton High School in 1974 and then went on to graduate from OSU in 1978. I was hooded Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 1987.

This was followed by a surgical residency at the Cleveland foot clinic/Huron road Hospital under direction of the legendary Dr. Gerard V. Yu. My father, James Boyer, a retired but well known orthodontist  also graduated from Ohio State his practice was in Norton for many years.

I married Jennifer from Potsdam New York in 1983 and she has been right by my side for 25 years now. She currently works on my books from home. I have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. I enjoy vacationing in Florida and attending Ohio State University football games. I have logged more time attending Wadsworth High School athletics having served as one of their team doctors since 1990. I was inducted into Wadsworth sports Hall of Fame as a physician. Sports medicine is learned on the court or on the field as opposed to a classroom or books I feel. I enjoy a high school event much more than professional sports.

I enjoy spending time with my family which all live locally and my small dogs who accompany me almost everywhere I go. Most of my time is spent working hard for my patients in the office. My office is small and family oriented we are always genuine and friendly. I serve my community and have been an active member of the Lions Club and served as president in 1995. I am a 33rd Mason and have risen to the masonic level of Shriner. I look forward to seeing you at my office.
